SACAC offers three levels of membership. Check out the advantages of membership and decide which level best suits you or your institution. We look forward to welcoming you to SACAC!
Individual voting membership is extended to:
- Individuals employed by institution eligible for membership.
- Independent counselors who meet criteria established by NACAC.
- Retired individuals who were actively engaged in counseling, admissions, or financial aid services in the SACAC region for at least 15 years and who are age 65 or over or deemed retired under the retirement program of the last institution where employed.
- Annual dues: $35.
Institutional voting membership is extended to:
- State or regionally accredited two- and four-year public and private colleges and universities within the SACAC region (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and the Caribbean).
- Other not-for-profit organizations, agencies, or institutions which provide counseling, admissions or financial aid services within the SACAC region.
- Annual dues: $35.
Nonvoting associate membership is extended to:
- Individuals employed by primary or secondary schools, colleges, universities or educational institutions outside the Southern region that are in agreement with the purpose of SACAC.
- Not-for-profit organizations, agencies or institutions which provide counseling, admissions or financial aid services outside the SACAC region.
- Individuals who are ineligible for voting membership but who provide postsecondary education counseling, admission or financial aid services or whose primary activity consists of providing services for postsecondary education.
- Annual dues: $40.
