Update as of 1:50 pm CT, 11/9/2020
At this time we are postponing tomorrow's discussion to a future date. We recognize emotions have run high, specifically, over the last week, and many are continuing to process them.
Acknowledging the timing of this topic in conjunction with so much which has played out amidst the current climate, we would like to extend time to give our colleagues a little space. We are not cancelling this Think Tank, but we will offer it at another time.
In the meantime we encourage you to remain in that positive headspace because it matters to you and your colleagues. Please be patient as we identify a new time. We'll be sure to let you know. Feel free to use the following resources to keep your happiness spirits alive and well so you can continue to thrive. Thanks for all you do!
“Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting.” Anonymous

Diversity, Race, Ethnicity, Multicultural, Access, Inclusion, Class, Sexual Orientation are all terms that can stand alone. Still, without considering Intersectionality, you are only considering terms/parts of a person without considering the whole person. Each person is special; each story is unique, but what can be ascertained in the broadest of ways that can help each of us not stereotype people but learn from the commonalities. We each have blind spots when it comes to the vast identities that are in our world; however, with the heightened awareness of identities, we must equip ourselves to speak knowledgable but also recognizing that there are human limitations on being all-knowing. We must all come with an open mind to broaden our ideas of diversity. This session is meant to explore the terms that are thrown around but are often misused. This session will help us to be more comfortable navigating in uncomfortable/unfamiliar conversations.
Registration is limited to 100, but it will be recorded! Register here
