The University of Miami is excited to serve as host of a 2017 SACAC Florida Drive-In Workshop. Counselors attending this workshop will receive Continuing Education clock hours during this exciting day addressing current trends, topics and issues in College Admission. The Drive-In takes place on Wednesday, December 6 from 8:30AM to 3:30PM.

What is the definition of Sexual Violence on campus and in the workplace? How can students, faculty and staff take responsibility for awareness, prevention, education and reporting of such events.
11:00 am What does it really mean to be “Pre-Health” and “Pre-Law” in undergraduate studies?
Often times high school students will state they want to major in “pre-health” or “pre-law”. Generally these are tracks to follow rather than true majors. How can students truly prepare for post-graduate studies, what are ideal majors, what are their priorities in preparing to go to Medical School, Dental School, Vet School or Law School.
