Event Sponsor:
The Southern Association of College Admission Counselors is a non-profit organization that strives to bridge the gap between secondary school counselors and post-secondary admission officials. Our members are committed to the promotion of post-secondary opportunities for all students in the southeast, and are provided with the most up-to-date information about what is happening in the world of higher education. We would like to sponsor this event in Mississippi to raise awareness for legislative issues in higher education, on both a national and state level, and to provide members with an opportunity to share their viewpoints with state-legislators. The event is open to all secondary school counselors and post-secondary admission officials in the state of Mississippi: even if they are not currently part of SACAC. Attendees will be acting as education advocates rather than representatives of their respective institutions and we encourage everyone to join us.
