Program Overview

Who Should Attend? High school, college, and independent counselors who are either new to the profession, have three or fewer years of experience, or would just like a fresh infusion of professional development.  Graduate students in school counseling programs are welcome.

Each year Summer Seminar gathers seasoned professionals from both undergraduate admissions and secondary school college counseling to share “best practices” and address each aspect of a college counselor’s responsibilities. This year, Summer Seminar will be held virtually. During the four days, there will be a mixture of sessions, breakout small group discussions, and college presentations from ten colleges around the SACAC region.

Summer Seminar will provide participants time to reflect, share ideas, and network.
