The Communications Committee exists to facilitate engagement with the membership through various communication channels, aligning with the strategic plan of the organization and the objectives that support it. It serves as a reliable resource, offering our members information that is both pertinent and beneficial, in professional and personal contexts. The Communications Committee works in partnership with board members to produce communications that showcase and inform the association's programming, shares accurate information from regional, national, and global sources, and guarantees that our communications reflect our commitment to equity, inclusivity, and belonging, free from any personal, institutional, or systemic bias.
The committee is responsible for gathering content for SACAC’s Southern Scope Blog, engaging members on social media, and assisting with website content and email communication for the organization.
