Each state has a State and Area Initiatives Lead who facilitates a state meeting at the SACAC Annual Conference and leads at least one meeting between annual conferences, typically in the fall semester. The meetings serve as an opportunity to address the needs and desires of admissions, college, and school counseling professionals in the state as well as to share information about SACAC events going on within the state.
