The Inclusion, Access & Success (IAS) Committee shall be responsible for promoting human relations and human rights issues within the Association and Southern region.

Our Mission

IAS supports underserved and underrepresented students and the professionals that work with them by creating programming and access to resources that focus on college preparation and the admission application process. As such, we provide outreach services to schools and students lacking a structured college planning program.

These book discussions offer members the opportunity to engage in conversations surrounding issues of equity and inclusion in our respective fields and communities. View the SACAC calendar for any currently scheduled discussions.

Annual Conference Service Project

During the SACAC Annual Conference, the IAS Committee will sponsor a service project in which college admission professionals will partner with local outreach organizations to facilitate a college planning workshop for students and parents.

To promote post-secondary access and opportunities to first generation and/or underserved students, the committee organizes College Admission Workshops, free, one-day, interactive and informative college planning workshops for high school students from underrepresented and underserved populations. • The College Search Process
