If you are looking for someone to whom you can address your questions as they relate to the college counseling/admission world, or you are a seasoned veteran of working with students and families and you are interested in offering advice to a new college counseling or admission professional, then we would love for you to register for the SACAC Mentorship Program! Mentorship is a vital part of professional and personal growth as one develops in a budding career and we are so thrilled that you are choosing to engage with others in your profession through SACAC. Please use the questionnaire to let us know a little bit more about you and your expectations for this experience. We will use these questions to make the best possible match for each mentor/mentee pair. If you have any questions about the program at all, please do not hesitate to contact us at mentors@sacac.org.

Time Expectations:

  • Mentors are expected to reach out to their Mentee within two weeks of being matched to make introductions and discuss personal expectations for the relationship
  • Mentor/Mentees will check in monthly during the first six months of the relationship
  • Fill out brief Mentor/Mentee update form to the Mentorship Coordinators once a month
