The SACAC Counselor Participation Fund (CPF) provides financial assistance to secondary counselors and college representatives who have limited financial resources to attend SACAC professional development opportunities.  Funding is available for the following professional development opportunities: SACAC Annual Conference, Summer Seminar, Sweet Tea Tour, and Dry Run.

Those wishing to apply for funding assistance please view the timeline listed below:

Application available by early November
Application deadline early January
Notification to all applicants mid January
Reimbursement paperwork & receipts due 30 days after PD event

Preference will be given to counselors working in public high schools and community-based organizations as well as those who serve traditionally underrepresented student populations.

Grant funds may be used for registration fees, lodging, transportation (mileage or airfare), ground transportation/parking, and meal allowance, depending upon the needs of the recipient.

In order to be reimbursed, grant recipients must submit a Counselor Participation Fund Reimbursement Form (below) and copies of the receipts to the Counselor Participation Fund Co-Chairs ([email protected]) within thirty days of the event.
