The SACAC Leads program is designed to develop informed, committed and qualified leaders for the organization and the broader profession. SACAC Leads prepares and motivates participants to provide intentional, dynamic leadership within the member states. All participants are encouraged to have been active members of SACAC or another regional affiliate for at least five years. Faculty applicants are encouraged to have at least 10 years of experience and significant past or present leadership within SACAC or another regional affiliate. Applications will be available in early September 2025 for the 2026 cohort. The participant program fee is $150.
The SACAC Leads program runs from January – March. Participants will be encouraged to engage in SACAC events within their respective home states when possible including Legislative Days, Drive-in Workshops, and/or College Admission Workshops.
If chosen for the 2026 cohort, you must be available for the following class days from 10 am - 12 pm EST: January 7, January 28, February 18, March 11, and March 22 (Annual Conference - Sunday morning).
